Jerry Norris was born in Lansing, MI in 1966. His mother and father divorced when he was 2 years old. He lived/grew up with his mother and his younger brother mostly in Section 8 housing, food stamps, assistance, and poverty. His father stayed in the picture and was a great father. His grandparents lived in the same house and his grand father was instrumental in helping him understand how to grow food.
